I had the greatest pleasure of photographing Sheree and Scott’s wedding in Oceanside, Saturday October 11 2008. I made my way to the location at 2pm to photograph both Bride and Groom getting ready. I first started with Scott because I knew he would be ready much faster than Sheree and what I ended up learning was that Scott was a natural model. He looked like someone straight out of a Men’s Warehouse advertisement.

The bride's wedding dress

One of my favorite wedding images. I just love how the bride is out of focus in the foreground, she’s checking out her dress in the background and you can see the bridesmaids helping to lace up her wedding dress.

Bride's bouquet and wedding dress

Just great vibrant colors coming from the bouquet and the bride’s dress is just elegant.

The group bridal shot

The wind blowing the bride’s veil in the air, the perfect lighting from the sun and two people in love. How perfect is this??

Bride and Groom portrait

We found an unmanned lifeguard tower and took some portraits there. Scott did an incredible job with the posing. Hardly any direction from me and he looks like a natural model.

At one point the cops were called in by one of the neighbors (how could you!?). They took part in the festivities and handcuffed Scott and Sheree just for fun. Great way to end the night.

Wow, very nice shots.
The photo of the bride blew me away.
Love the colours and the DOF. Very good exposure as well!

Best regards,
Tim
