An engagement session at the Embarcadero and Coronado followed with a wedding at North Chapel and Admiral Kidd Club? You betcha! Alaine and Dennis look like a quiet couple but once you get to know them you will find that they are a fun bunch. I had a great time with their engagement session so I knew that the wedding would be even better.
Alaine did her wedding preparation at the North Chapel at Liberty Station.

I really love the details Alaine wore with her wedding dress. The bracelet and necklace paired perfectly with the wedding dress.

The light was amazing on the balcony of the Admiral Kidd Club. Beautiful views of the downtown San Diego skyline.

Dennis and Alaine, I had a grand time hanging out with you both for your engagement session and being with family and friends at your wedding. You guys are cute and romantic and I can’t wait to see you guys again!
Here’s a preview of Amanda and Josh’s wedding in Ocean Beach at the Sacred Heart Church.
The bride wore a simple wedding dress and her bridesmaids had elegant purple dresses and beautiful wedding bouquets. The bride’s bouquet was wrapped with her mother’s rosary.

I noticed the bride and groom were holding hands as they were stood close together at the alter during the mass.

Take a look at Josh and Amanda’s engagement session!
I know Josh from his older brother, Scott. I actually photographed his older brother’s wedding.
Josh and Amanda are a great couple to be around. Amanda is an outgoing person and Josh seems reserved on the outside. I think they are perfect for each other because Amanda was making Josh crack smiles all during the engagement session.
We started our session at Presidio Park near Old Town. It was near sunset and the weather was great. Fortunately, it wasn’t crowded so we were able to walk around freely but we started at the stairs near the entrance of the park.

I really like the light bouncing off the walls.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way the light wrapped around them and how they look so much in love.

This is another favorite of mine. More beautiful light and great emotion from Josh and Amanda.

We made our way into Old Town and found this little hidden area away from the crowds.

This was the best way to end their engagement session. We found this awesome wagon in Old Town. Look how ecstatic Amanda looks

I’m happy to say that my wedding photography site has been updated with the latest photo galleries. What’s different? I changed the “Galleries” navigation to “Featured” which contains six subcategories, three engagements and three weddings.

The other updates applied are more personalized content throughout the different web pages. I wanted to be more of myself on the website. Next up on the list: more blog updates!

Here’s Desiree and Ray having a grand time in Coronado. I love the elegance of their outfits.
