We’re continuing from Part I of Josh and Amanda’s wedding with more film. We have a variety of moments here both in color and black and white with many portraits, smiles and laughter. I hope you enjoy!

I especially love this photo because it’s one of the few moments Josh and Amanda had time to themselves after the ceremony.

Josh and Amanda complement each other. Josh is cool and collected. Amanda is outgoing and animated. When you mix their personalities you get a fun, charismatic duo. Amanda is very candid and speaks her mind. If you remember their engagement session, Amanda was the one who made Josh crack some authentic smiles. Josh is a very reserved individual. He has traveled all across the United States but landed himself here in beautiful San Diego. Josh and Amanda both love the beach, and who wouldn’t disagree. They live within walking distance of the ocean. When they are together you’re sure to have a lot of laughs. The images below were shot on film.

The day began at the Sacred Heart church with a creative idea put in place by Amanda. The end result is a parting favor of vintage keys hung on a white painted door. At the top of that door displayed a message in handwritten ink:

My heart to you is given
Oh do give yours to me
We’ll lock them up together
And throw away the key 

Below the message were keys, hung by a thread and tied to a tag with each guests’ name.

One of the reasons why I love using film is because of the spot on color.

A friend of the bride put together Amanda’s bouquet. It’s absolutely gorgeous!

An engagement session at the Embarcadero and Coronado followed with a wedding at North Chapel and Admiral Kidd Club? You betcha! Alaine and Dennis look like a quiet couple but once you get to know them you will find that they are a fun bunch. I had a great time with their engagement session so I knew that the wedding would be even better.

Alaine did her wedding preparation at the North Chapel at Liberty Station.

I really love the details Alaine wore with her wedding dress. The bracelet and necklace paired perfectly with the wedding dress.

The light was amazing on the balcony of the Admiral Kidd Club. Beautiful views of the downtown San Diego skyline.

Dennis and Alaine, I had a grand time hanging out with you both for your engagement session and being with family and friends at your wedding. You guys are cute and romantic and I can’t wait to see you guys again!

Here’s a preview of Amanda and Josh’s wedding in Ocean Beach at the Sacred Heart Church.

The bride wore a simple wedding dress and her bridesmaids had elegant purple dresses and beautiful wedding bouquets. The bride’s bouquet was wrapped with her mother’s rosary.

I noticed the bride and groom were holding hands as they were stood close together at the alter during the mass.

Here’s a sneak peak at Alaine & Dennis at their reception, Admiral Kidd Conference Center. It was taken on the balcony with downtown San Diego as the backdrop. It was a beautiful wedding and I can’t wait to share it with everyone.

I am pleased to have photographed Sam and Mike’s wedding. I stood near the corner of Sam’s hotel room as her bridesmaids admired Sam in her tea ceremony dress. Sam spoke to her bridesmaids and I snapped away photographing their emotions.

Take a look at the photos below. Her halo diamond engagement ring is absolutely gorgeous. Mike really did an awesome job finding the perfect ring.

My first photo booth of the year was brought to the MCRD Bay View room. Once I finished putting the photo booth together everyone rushed to put on props and get in front of the camera.

I wasn’t sure what to expect once people had a couple of drinks and got the blood flowing on the dance floor. Couples came to get their photos taken. Families came to take their latest portrait. The men brought the crazy. Leading by example, the bridal party tried on all the props, brought their best faces, and posed in every which way.

The first photo booth of the year was just as I expected, fun and full of laughter. I look forward to the next wedding that wants to raise the bar with the photo booth.

Clear blue skies, warm weather, couple of clouds here and there.. it was just an absolutely beautiful day for Rachelle and Mark to get married. This day was theirs and nothing would get in the way.

When I was taking the photos I saw the connection between Rachelle and Mark. I saw how much they love each other, how Mark was blown away when he saw first saw Rachelle and how intimate their first dance was.

Rachelle and Mark’s wedding was memorable, emotional and fun. The toasts were very thoughtful that created laughter and tears.
